Meet Triple Specialist Allen Larkins!
Allen became a Retirement Solutions Specialist after attending a Retirement Solutions University (RSU) in Jacksonville, Florida before it was even called RSU! He became interested in the Retirement Solutions programs after tuning into the weekly calls and attending Retirement Solutions breakout sessions at Equis' annual national training events. Allen has since continued his pursuit in the Retirement Solutions division, going on to specialize in all three Retirement Solutions specialties - Annuities, Indexed Universal Life (IUL), and Debt Elimination.
When asked about what he loved most about being a specialist, Allen replied, "I love that I'm in a position to not only better help my clients with their multitude of needs, but also assist other agents at the same time."
Allen's genuine care for his clients has helped him establish relationships and build trust over the years, while his team player attitude has earned him respect amongst his fellow agents at Equis. As an Annuities, IUL and Debt Elimination Specialist, Allen highly recommends agents to refer clients and/or consider becoming specialists themselves. He says, "Having a specialist and/or referring to a specialist will help you turn your customer into a client. The way you do that is by helping the client realize they have more than one problem and you, along with your specialist, will be able to provide solutions for them. The goal is to turn your customer into a client and a specialist will help you achieve that."
His best advice for someone considering becoming a specialist? "First I refer multiple cases to a specialist and sit in on all those appointments to be able to see the work that goes into assisting the client with Debt Free 4 Life, Annuities or IULs. While referring cases I would sign up for the next RSU to get additional knowledge needed to better understand all the retirement solutions we offer," says Allen.
