One message that stood out during the Gold Standard Tour in Phoenix, AZ is this: consistency matters.
We’ve seen so many agents grow their businesses simply by sharing their day-to-day lives. You don’t have to create polished ads or become a professional content creator—just show what you’re up to. Whether it’s attending a training, meeting with a client, or celebrating a small win, people notice when you show up consistently online.
Real Stories of Connection
During the Phoenix event, Olivia Thompson shared how she reconnected with a familiar face because of social media. She went to college with Lincoln Anderson, and after seeing his posts about the work he was doing, she reached out. That simple step not only reconnected two old friends but also led to Olivia joining Equis and becoming a Sales Manager herself.
Then there’s Heather Deatz, who shared a recent success story on the Retirement Solutions Roundtable podcast. Heather had been posting about her work and mission on social media, and someone who had been watching her posts reached out for help. That connection led to Heather being able to get coverage in place for that family—directly because she was consistently visible online. As Heather shared:
“So I don’t think it was just one post. I think it’s a combination of always letting people know what you do, different things that we can do, and just not being a secret agent.”

The best part? Your warm market is already watching. Time and time again, agents have shared that people reach out to them after seeing their posts, asking questions like, “What are you up to these days?” or “How did you get into that?” A single post can open doors to new relationships and opportunities you didn’t even know were there.
Remember:
You never know who is silently following your journey.
Every post is a chance to share your purpose and passion.
Over time, showing up builds trust, credibility, and curiosity.
Even if a post doesn’t get a ton of likes or comments, that doesn’t mean it isn’t working. The impact is often happening behind the scenes.
So, keep showing up. Share your wins, your learning moments, and your day-to-day life in this business. Consistency isn’t about going viral—it’s about being visible.
